Sprucewood Shores Winery Wedding & Enchanted Forest Ceremony
This Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery wedding was one for the books. I absolutely love documenting outdoor weddings and Lucie & David’s wedding was a real dream-come-true forest fairytale. And it couldn’t have been more perfect since that was exactly what Lucie was after – a natural-looking enchanted forest style wedding.
Since it was a very close-knit family wedding, that whole family vibe really carried through the whole day. In the morning, when Lucie was getting ready, it was so lovely seeing everyone feeling relaxed yet jittery with positive excitement. Lucie wore a gorgeous BDLHN lace dress with an open back. The moment she put it on was truly special. And I have to say, the delicate white sneakers with the silvery polka dot accent was such a cool and personal addition to the whole look.
It was also great seeing the guys feeling so relaxed as they were getting ready – just having some beers and a good time in the morning out in the sun.
The Ceremony
The intimate wedding ceremony looked out of this world. It was a super sunny day and the sun peeked through the leaves beautifully. In a way, it almost looked like the whole backdrop of the sun peeking through the trees complemented the lace pattern of Lucie’s dress. It’s not an overstatement to say that the setting was magical yet natural and down to earth. Lucie’s bouquet (from Renaissance Weddings and Events) had some family photos in lockets and, again, I thought it was such a sweet and personal touch, and so unique.
The Reception
Lucied & David’s reception was at the beautiful Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery where they made a totally grand entrance after the cocktail hour. This was such an excellent choice for the reception since the rustic setting complemented their ceremony and the whole look of the wedding so well. The Elle & Em stationery dotted throughout the venue felt so personal and sweet.
Altogether, it was very special to witness the candid moments taking place throughout the day – nieces and nephews having a blast, everyone smiling and laughing so much while sharing this unforgettable milestone in Lucie & David’s life together.
