2018 | A year in review

To say that 2018 was a busy year would be a complete understatement. 26 weddings, lots of engagements and a bunch of family sessions.  Also, in March we welcomed our first baby into our lives.  Such an amazing moment which shook us to the core and changed our lives (for the better) forever.  This also meant this was my first year year as a full time wedding photographer AND a mom – it was beautiful AND it was difficult.  There were tears of sadness and moments of complete and utter bliss.  I am now just understanding and learning how to navigate our crazy life and wear all the hats.  Live more graciously and not get too hard on myself. After reflecting on everything I just feel proud and happy – and that’s all the fuel I need to get started on gearing up for 2019.

So to all these lovely people in these pictures below – thank you for letting me capture a slice of your life.  Your happiest moments, your hugs, your kisses and your tears.  Thank you for your epic first dances, your first looks, trekking through the mud in your wedding dresses, letting me serve you, and just being all around badasses.  I cherished it all.  Hats off to all of you, I love y’all to bits.
