Unique and Intimate Wedding at Urban Field House

This past July I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at The Urban Field House, one of the newer venues in the Windsor area.

The Perfect Day at Urban Field House

The day was perfection right from the very beginning. I started photographing some moments at Kait’s house while my second was with Mike. We convened for their first look where I’m pretty sure we all shed a few tears. I absolutely love first looks! It gives you an extra nugget of time in your day to have a moment just to yourselves as a couple- you can calm your nerves and see your husband/wife for the first time on your own terms.

K & M made their day truly unique by choosing decor and florals the really emphasized their rustic day. The florals by the ever-so talented CJH Florals complimented the warm lighting and the milk glass vases scattered at every harvest table.

The ceremony was set on the same grounds as the reception, full of greens and full of all their loved ones. Again…I’m pretty sure we all shed a few tears! (Yes I tend to shed a lot of tears on a wedding day haha). Another lovely touch to their day was zipping on over to Patillo Orchard for more portraits before the rest of the reception started. We had a blast with their whole wedding party. Patillo Orchard has the loveliest grounds, complete with a rustic farmhouse, a grey barn and a little apple orchard in the back. It’s seriously perfect.

K & M made their day about THEM. About what they wanted and who they wanted to spend it with. They day was calm, fun and full of love because they made it so. Good job guys – I’m so honoured I got to document this day for you. XOCJ
